Friend,
Today, we remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his life's work: to secure equality for Black Americans in the face of relentless violence and discrimination.
And every day, we honor his legacy by recommitting to the fight for a more perfect democracy.
All On The Line was founded to restore fairness to our democracy and ensure every American has an equal say in our government. We champion maps that ensure marginalized communities, especially communities of color that have historically been shut out of the democratic process, have a fair chance at choosing who they want to represent them in Congress and their statehouses.
We’ll never stop fighting — because we know Dr. King’s vision of a more just and equitable union is possible.
Just last year, the fair maps movement secured two historic victories at the U.S. Supreme Court: upholding our democratic system of checks and balances in Moore v. Harper and preserving Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act in Allen v. Milligan.
Dr. King showed us that the contribution of a single person can make a positive difference to inspire and transform an entire nation. And team, we’re even stronger when we work together.
With critical elections happening across the country this fall, we have our work cut out for us — but we know that with you by our side, we can and will bend the arc of the moral universe toward justice.
Thank you for helping to strengthen democracy, today and every day.
