John,

On this day, we celebrate, commemorate, and honor the life, legacy, and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

As we mark this anniversary, our nation is at a crossroads. Today, I urge you to recommit to Dr. King's mission — addressing economic justice, voting rights, educational opportunities, health and housing accessibility, gun violence, and rebuilding our communities. When we join together and use our collective power, we work toward a more equitable America.

Philadelphia proudly hosts the largest MLK Day event in the nation — so get involved! I invite you to join me today in honoring Dr. King's memory by taking meaningful action. You can learn about more opportunities and sign up to volunteer here: [link removed]

Today, in the spirit of his legacy, let me restate my unwavering commitment to social and economic justice for all Americans. I will continue working on the front lines in Congress, serving as a voice for our community and advocating for the policies and initiatives that the late Dr. King spent his life championing.

In solidarity,

Dwight
