Save the Date - SPARK Youth Arts Festival 2024
We are delighted to announce that the SPARK Youth Arts Festival 2024 will take place from February 19th – 24th! SPARK Youth Arts Festival is a national event to explore, discuss and celebrate the inspiring world of youth arts practice in Ireland. Take part and spark your interest in developing youth arts activities with young people and embedding youth arts practice in your work!

SPARK €300 Mini Grants – Call for Applications
Each year, the Mini-Grants aim to support youth arts taster workshops for young people aged 10 to 25 in youth work and non-formal education settings. This year, in keeping with the thematic focus of the 2024 festival, the SPARK mini-grant is also focused on promoting Inclusion. Application Deadline: Monday, Jan 29th @ 5pm

The Centre for Effective Services are surveying young people aged 16-25 to learn about the info they need & trust to help them navigate life, find activities & access services & support. Deadline: Friday, Jan 19th

VSI: Climate Migration Meetup & Workshop
VSI's monthly meetup for January is on the topic of climate migration. The meetup will take place online, from 19:00 to 20:00, on Tuesday, 30 January.

Involve: Traveller Mental Health Youth Workshop
As part of their No Shame Traveller Youth Mental Health project Involve Youth and Community Services are hosting a Mental health event for young people from the Traveller Community aged 15 to 24 years of age on the 15th February in Longford.

ISSU: Racism in Schools Survey Launch
The ISSU is investigating racism in secondary schools in Ireland, focussing on the rate and type of incidents in Irish schools, and what happens when there is discrimination. The more students that participate in this survey, the stronger the data will be, this can lead to meaningful changes in policies and practices.

Plan International Ireland is currently looking for new members to join the YAP. Join their group of 16-24 year olds who represent the voices of young people all over Ireland. The YAP learn about global citizenship and take action towards gender equality worldwide. Closing date: 21st Jan
