Friend, With the coronavirus outbreak growing more serious in the United States, the health and safety of Michigan remains my top priority during this difficult time. Listening to the experts, we know that this crisis requires swift action, and that’s why I voted in support of a comprehensive relief package that funds free coronavirus testing, paid sick leave, and food programs in an effort to temper the financial hardship of this outbreak on American families. Call your doctor or local health department FIRST for further direction. This helps ensure the safety of all healthcare workers, other patients, and yourself. I also encourage you to visit www.coronavirus.gov to access helpful tips and ways to keep yourself and your loved ones safe during this outbreak, including:
Moving forward, I remain committed to searching for solutions to combat this outbreak and prioritizing the wellbeing of the American people. Together, I know that we will overcome this and be stronger as a result. Thanks,
