John — I was on MSNBC earlier today with Jen Psaki, where I discussed Trump’s recent claims of “presidential immunity.”
Before I share the quick details, can you pitch in to my campaign? My first mid-month fundraising deadline of the year expires at 11:59 PM tomorrow: secure.actblue.com/donate/[email protected]
As president, Donald Trump used and abused his powers for his own gain — and that’s exactly what he would do if he made it back into the White House.
Look, he already claimed he would be “a dictator on day one.”
He believes there are no limits to what he can do under the Constitution.
Inciting violence against his rivals. Undermining election results he disagrees with. Dismantling our rule of law.
Donald Trump is a profound danger to our country. I’ve said it for years.
Meanwhile, Trump’s rivals in the presidential primary refuse to take him on. They’re more focused on their own political futures — four years from now — than confronting the dangerous demagogue who is beating them in the polls.
The stakes of these upcoming elections, starting with the Iowa Caucus tomorrow, are sky-high, John. And we need to be sure we have someone in the Senate with the experience and leadership necessary to defend our democracy.
That’s why I’m running for Senate — to keep up this fight and hold Trump to account. Please chip in to my campaign today: secure.actblue.com/donate/[email protected]
Thank you,
Adam
