NEW EPISODE!!
Friends,
This week, I had the luxury of being joined by one of the most like-minded people I have had the chance to get in contact with. David Azerrad is an Assistant Professor and Research Fellow at Hillsdale College’s Van Andel Graduate School of Government in Washington, D.C. His research and writing focuses on classical liberalism, conservative political thought, and identity politics.
After hearing about David and seeing some of his speeches, I actually decided to head in the recording… without preparing it! It seemed like an excellent opportunity to have an organic conversation about topics he and I both are interested in.
“The Boomers tend to be more optimistic; they have nostalgia for Reagan, and they think that if we elect another Reagan and cut taxes, we can save America”
- David Azerrad
We talked extensively about the Founding Fathers, their culture, and what is missing in America today… and also the reasons to be cautiously optimistic about We The People.
One of the reasons that we are in the position we find ourselves in today, regarding the attacks on our liberties, is, as David pointed out, that we have for too long been more attached to our comfort rather than our liberties.
Young men, especially, have been turning more conservative in recent years, and they seem to be more “radical.” Well, guess what? *AMERICAN IDEALS ARE RADICAL*
Unrestricted speech, a government OF the people, FOR the people, BY the people… Those are for the faint-hearted… It’s about time men get back to their natural role of leaders and stand up for our liberties and everything else our beautiful America is about.
Please let me know what you thought of the episode in the comments!
Blessings…
