We're still 127 memberships short of our goal.

The election year is here, friend. The Iowa GOP caucus is tonight. Trump is leading the polls there by a mile – and it's the same story in primary states across the country. At this point, it's all but guaranteed that he'll become the GOP nominee. And national polling data points to a neck-and-neck battle for control of the White House.

And for our Democratic Senate majority, things look similarly tough: We're holding on to a narrow 51-49 majority. Losing even just one seat could cost us control of the chamber. And there are 23 Democratic seats on the ballot this year.

I won't sugarcoat it: Trump and his MAGA cronies could be on the cusp of retaking power. I know that President Biden and his team are doing everything they can to ensure that we hold the White House. But it's up to us to make sure that Democrats hold the Senate.

That starts with hitting our very first membership goal of 2024. So please, if you've got anything to spare tonight, will you rush $5 to activate your 2024 Democratic Membership and invest in the fight to defeat MAGA extremism?
