You aren’t the only one with a New Year’s Resolution! Our team just met to lay out our 2024 goals, and I’m excited to share them with you.
Resolution 1: Defend our Democrats
We are ready to defend the seats we’ve won in Delaware, Washington, and Vermont this November. Our lieutenant governors have been shutting down far-right attempts to take away our voting and reproductive rights and refocusing their state’s efforts on things like free school meals and gun violence prevention. They’re doing an incredible job defending our rights, and now they need us to defend them.
Resolution 2: Flip Red Seats → Blue
Far-right extremism is threatening the norms that make our system work. Republicans have dealt major blows to reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ protections, and the integrity of our democratic system– and they aren’t stopping there.
In North Carolina, we have a major opportunity to flip the seat from red to blue by defeating radical anti-choice extremist Mark Robinson. We have similar opportunities in West Virginia, North Dakota, and Montana, so we’re going to need all the help we can get.
Resolution 3: Raise $100K in Grassroots Donations Before Election Day
Fighting off the far-right and getting Democratic LGs elected requires time, commitment, and yes, money. The fact is, without your help, we simply can’t continue doing the work we do to spread our message and get voters involved. But we also know that we have an incredible base of support including you. It led us to electing the most diverse slate of Democratic LGs in history last year. If we’re going to have an even greater impact in 2024, we will need to raise the bar and hit our 100k goal! Will you help us get off to a strong start with a $20.24 donation? The far-right isn’t waiting to mobilize their support, and we can’t either!
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately. |
We only have one chance to get this right, and we can’t do it without you.
Here’s to meeting ALL of our New Year’s Resolutions in 2024! 🥂
