I still use the things I learned at West Point to this day.

Team, since I was young, I’ve always been driven to serve my community. My parents taught me that we always have an obligation to give back and take care of those around us.

So after graduating from high school, I decided to attend West Point, which I am proud to now represent in Congress.

It was a formative experience — filled with early mornings, late nights, and hard work. But I’m grateful that I had the chance to attend West Point because my time there instilled in me what service and sacrifice really mean.

I still use the things I learned at West Point to this day. In fact, on Day One, you’re taught that there are only three acceptable responses when asked a question:

  1. Yes
  2. No
  3. No excuse

That’s it. Three responses — yes, no, or no excuse.

Too often in Washington, politicians make excuses about things they did (or didn’t) accomplish. Any day of the week you’ll see them making excuses on TV or on social media.

But not me. I believe the word “representative” means a lot in elected office — and it’s a deeply meaningful title.

As a representative, I believe you’re chosen to represent the community and act in their best interest. It doesn’t mean letting families down, engaging in partisan bickering, and backing an extremist agenda that only helps the wealthy few.

No more excuses.

In Congress, I’ve worked to bring truth and accountability to light. I’ve held mega-corporations accountable when they were causing harm. I’ve introduced meaningful legislation to protect reproductive rights. I’ve fought to expand benefits for veterans and working families and to protect the promises we’ve made to seniors.

And I’m not stopping anytime soon. No excuses.

If you support this important work, if you value having a patriotic fighter in Congress delivering results for the community, please, chip in a few dollars to my reelection campaign. Any amount you can spare means so much.
