This week’s need-to-see video…
In place of a Newsmaker interview this week, we bring you Republican State Senator Nikki Torres' response to the gaslighting remarks delivered by Governor Jay Inslee in (thankfully) his last State of the State speech. While Inslee’s address was a lesson in creative storytelling, Senator Torres brought a refreshing dose of reality to the table, and her perspective deserves more attention than the ink wasted on the governor's many questionable statements.. Take a moment to watch Sen. Torres' no-nonsense response here.

This week’s top story…
In a recent Crosscut/Elway poll, only 37% of respondents picked Democrat Bob Ferguson for our state’s next governor. That leaves a whopping two-thirds of voters looking for other options. On the flip side, Republican Dave Reichert is pulling in 31% from the GOP base, showing that the race is still wide open and candidates have some ground to cover before November. Even though Attorney General Bob Ferguson has been dancing around Gov. Inslee's seat for 12 years, it looks like he won’t be waltzing into office just yet. Read this story and more.

In case you missed it…
The Far Left's recent political pep rally in downtown Seattle, blocking Interstate 5 for five hours, aimed to press Democrat politicians, like Governor Jay Inslee, to publicly support Hamas terrorists. The Seattle Times editorialists, after three days of mulling over their response, advocated for a response involving "law enforcement coordination and a clear message" against those disrupting public spaces for political influence. Questions remain however about Governor Inslee and the Washington State Patrol's commitment to dealing with such illegal disruptions, especially as the protestors, a loud part of the Democrat voting base, took control of the freeway for most of a Saturday afternoon with minimal intervention from law enforcement. Read this story and more.
