As of last week, Congress is officially back in session! While I always appreciate some well-earned time to meet with our neighbors and recharge with family, it’s good to get back to work serving my constituents in Georgia.

I’m hitting the ground running in 2024. My track record in Congress is being a Representative who gets stuff done, and I’m planning on tackling more big issues that’ll help ease the burden on working families across the country. Things like:

• Funding essential government programs. It’s one of the biggest responsibilities of Congress to pass budgets that rightly prioritize serving the American people, and I take that responsibility seriously.
• Keeping our families safe from gun violence. We have lots more work to do – such as passing a federal assault weapons ban – to make sure that gun violence is a thing of the past.
• Lowering the cost of insulin. My bill to cap the cost of insulin for seniors is now law. Our government needs to make sure people aren’t deciding between putting food on the table or accessing crucial health care.
