Earlier this week, we emailed you to let you know that our fundraising started out slower than expected this month. As a grassroots campaign, we track these things closely because we rely on contributions of $5 - $14.
In order to make up the difference from this slow start, we’re setting a goal to raise $120,000 by midnight tomorrow.
Alexandria doesn’t curry favors from billionaires or host fancy cocktail fundraisers asking for big checks. She’s focused on legislating and advocating for progress.
We organize 365 days a year, on and off cycle, because we know that’s what’s required to compete with special interests and win the progressive reforms we need.
