Our opponent has been refusing to debate Qasim, despite debating challengers in past elections.
Voters deserve to know who they’re voting for, and Bill Foster is stripping them of that opportunity.
What’s worse: Foster originally agreed to debates – including one this past Monday – and has then declined to attend or rescheduled at the very last second.
Qasim isn’t afraid to defend his record, and he’s not afraid for voters to know his values and where he stands on the issues that matter. Bill Foster’s constant ducking of debates is disrespectful to voters and the community he claims to represent in IL-11.
Debates are also an incredibly important way for Qasim to connect with voters. They ensure voters hear about his story, issues, and plans for when he gets to Congress. If we don’t have that platform, we have to find alternative ways to talk to voters – and that takes resources.
Thanks for everything,
