Good morning, friend. I wanted to send top supporters a quick message about what I'm fighting for in the Senate.
One thing you should know about me is this: Back when I was a kid, my dad – a World War II veteran and a Purple Heart recipient – got really sick and had to quit his job. Veteran benefits, food stamps and workforce programs helped my family of nine get back on our feet during a difficult few months.
Looking back on that tough time, I'm so glad our country told my family, "We've got your back," instead of saying, "You're on your own." Now, I'm fighting every day in the U.S. Senate to make sure working families have that same support – by making the expanded Child Tax Credit permanent, guaranteeing paid family leave, making child care affordable and easy to find, protecting reproductive rights and so much more.

I promise to keep fighting for a strong economy that works for everyone, but to continue this important work, I need your help to defend our narrow Democratic Senate majority. Politico is already reporting this year's map is "hell" for Democrats, so I need to reach my $50,000 mid-month goal before tomorrow at midnight to keep the Senate blue.
