John: Californians deserve a true progressive fighting for them in the Senate. And right now, we have the momentum. But I'm falling short of my critical mid-month fundraising goal. If I plan to pull ahead in this race, I can't afford to fall a penny short. But here's where things stand:

Listen, I have an incredible opportunity to secure a historic victory in California and defend Democrats’ Senate majority. I can be the additional vote we need to finally abolish the filibuster, address economic injustice and pass crucial legislation like restoring abortion access nationwide.

And that is precisely why Fox News and MAGA extremists have already attacked me and why I know their attacks won't slow down anytime soon.

Polling shows that a large number of voters are still undecided, but I entered this race at a major fundraising deficit compared to other candidates. I know that we can overcome this, but missing this goal will have major consequences, like pulling back our efforts to reach California voters.
