✨3 Rising Stars
===============

Our slim lead in the Senate needs to be built upon. To do this, we need to look at the rising stars who can help us win BIG in 2024.

John, now that Joe Manchin is leaving his role as Senator of West Virginia, it is no secret that the Democrats need to pick up victories elsewhere to keep the Senate majority in 2024. There are several key candidates across the country we can help win to make this hope a reality.

###1. Colin Allred (Texas) ⭐

Raised by a single mom who was a public school teacher, Allred overcame challenges to graduate from Baylor University, play in the NFL, become a civil rights lawyer, and serve in Congress. Allred is driven by the conviction that every Texan, with dedication, should have the opportunity to achieve their dreams. He contrasts his own life experiences with the apparent disinterest of Ted Cruz in addressing the real challenges facing regular Texans. In Congress, he has worked across party lines to address issues such as lowering prescription drug prices and supporting veterans through initiatives like the Garland VA Medical Center.

###2. Gloria Johnson (Tennessee) ⭐

Coming from a family dedicated to putting people first, Gloria and her family faced threats from the KKK due to her father's pursuit of justice as an FBI Special Agent. With 27 years as a special education teacher, she entered politics in 2012, driven by frustration over attacks on public school rights. In 2023, she confronted Tennessee's leadership, highlighting the impact of a school shooting that happened in a district near hers. Gloria aims to challenge corrupt politicians like Marsha Blackburn by advocating for issues such as lowering drug costs, bipartisan gun reform, and women's reproductive rights in her U.S. Senate campaign.

###3. Lucas Kunce (Missouri) ⭐

Raised in a working-class neighborhood in Jeff City, Kunce faced financial hardship when his sister's medical bills bankrupted his family. The community's support inspired him to excel in school, become valedictorian at Jefferson City High School, and attend Yale with the help of grants and scholarships. Following law school at Mizzou, Lucas joined the Marine Corps, completing three tours of duty in the War on Terror. He experienced the harsh reality of burn pits in Iraq, leading to persistent health issues. Lucas is committed to public service and advocates for veterans, contrasting his experiences with politicians like Josh Hawley who voted against aid for exposed veterans.

[**We all have the opportunity to help pitch in for these crucial seats. To defeat MAGA, it will take a full-scale Democratic effort, and with that effort we can put these great candidates into the Senate in 2024. Help us increase our lead and push for a better America!**]([link removed])
