Congresswoman Lesko Weekly Update

It was another busy week here in Washington. I would like to encourage you to share this newsletter with others. Please direct them using this link and encourage them to subscribe.

Lesko Meetings this Week

I enjoyed meeting with constituents at the Irrigation and Electrical Districts Association of Arizona Annual Meeting. It’s always great catching up with local Arizonans and discussing the work Congress is doing for the district.

Lesko in the News

Read my latest op-ed with Fox News here for more on the left's craziness!

Compromising America’s future for a woke climate agenda is their plan. We have record numbers of suspected terrorists, migrants, and massive amounts of fentanyl crossing our border – the Climate Displaced Persons Act is a slap in the face to the millions of Americans being affected.

GET THE FACTS: Fauci Fessed Up

This past week, Dr. Fauci sat for 14 hours of closed-door testimony with the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic. During his testimony he admitted that the lab-leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory, the “6 feet apart” social distancing rule was not based on data, they knew vaccine mandates would potentially have the opposite effect, and he signed off on every foreign and domestic grant without actually reading them. This is absolutely insane and we will continue to investigate and question everyone involved to get to the bottom of what really went down during the coronavirus pandemic.

Around the District

Team Lesko recently attended the West Valley STEM Club. The club meets monthly to talk about topics of interest revolving around engineering, science, and technology. These individuals also raise money to help fund scholarships for students.

Team Lesko presented Terri Cunningham-Flowers with a Congressional Recognition for her work with Veterans Affinity. Terri volunteers her time with Veterans Affinity to schedule locations for meetings, helps connect veterans with resources, and provides guidance and support to those who need it.

Team Lesko joined the Glendale Chamber of Commerce at the ribbon cutting for the Scottsdale Mental Health and Wellness Institute. The institute has locations in the Phoenix and Tempe area with their first West Valley location opening at 6120 W Bell Rd, Glendale, Arizona.

Team Lesko recently dropped off books from the Library of Congress Surplus Books Program at Basis Peoria. We love supporting education in our community!

Congratulations to Liberty High School Coach Colin Thomas on his nomination for the NFL’s Don Shula High School Coach of the Year Award!

Casework Highlight

A constituent was seeking information from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regarding various wildlife issues in Arizona. Although he tried several times to obtain the information, he could not get a response from the Fish and Wildlife Service. Our office contacted the agency and obtained the information the constituent was looking for.
