Sometimes a list of Pros and Cons is useful for decision making or making a point. Here’s one of ours:

Pros:

• House Democrats are working tooth and nail to lower health care costs. 
• They’re calling on Congress to fully fund the Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children, WIC, to save this critical lifeline for mothers, children, and families so they can access the support they need.
• They took on big pharma and won, bringing the monthly cost of insulin to $35 for Medicare beneficiaries.
• And they’ve made strides toward defending reproductive rights and passing legislation to protect abortion access.

Cons:

• MAGA Republicans are still scheming to repeal the Affordable Care Act and strip health care coverage for millions.
• They want to cut the Social Security and Medicare benefits that millions of Americans have worked so hard to earn.
• They are focused on blocking voters’ access to the ballot box because they know when more of us can vote, they lose.
• They’re plotting to pass a nationwide abortion ban.

These are just some of the latest additions to our list but either way, it’s not hard to see that the Pros outweigh the Cons by a long shot.
