FROM USA TODAY:
Insulin $35 cap price now in effect, lowering costs for many Americans with diabetes
John,
Since I first ran for Congress, I have focused on lowering prescription drug costs because across my district – and across our country – far too many people are forced to make tough decisions like choosing whether to buy their medicine or put food on the table.
Now, it has been one year since the Inflation Reduction Act, which I voted to pass, capped insulin copays at $35 per month for Medicare enrollees. This reform has been life-changing and life-saving for so many Virginians.
I will continue to work to make quality healthcare more affordable for Virginians, and I know with your support, I’ll do just that. Your support powers this campaign. Will you consider making a contribution of $5 or $10 today?
