I write to you today with a heavy heart...

Dear John xxxxxx,
For 51 years, TFP volunteers have attended the annual March for Life in Washington,
D.C. It’s
the world’s largest march to end abortion.
Our red banners and marching band have encouraged countless -- perhaps MILLIONS -- of pro-lifers over the years to
persevere in the noble fight against abortion.
But today, I face a personal challenge.
With the cost of renting the buses to transport our band members and all their instruments and equipment...
... I might be forced to cut
back or cancel our presence in Washington for the first time in 51 years.
That would be very sad.
Because the dedicated members of the TFP Holy Guardian Angels Band have been practicing for
months, they collected their cold-weather gear from previous years of performing in the bitter wind and cold. They got their instruments ready to
go. Everything is
ready – especially the younger students who want to fight for the unborn on January 19, 2024.
Click here to send them to the March for
Life. With persistent prayers and sacrifices,
many victories for the unborn have been obtained.
Roe v. Wade was overturned -- thanks be to God! But the fight is far from over!
Despite the good news, we have to face the facts:
--
America’s unborn remain at great risk in many states, and this fight for moral values continues, starting in D.C.
-- Abortion is still very real and destructive. -- And thousands,
maybe millions of babies are at risk of being aborted… even up to the point of birth!
It pains me to admit that some people and places think this is OK.
The loss of reason,
compassion, and common sense must now be fought in the individual states. But on the national level, we must show that we remain strong as a
movement.
You and I must press the attack!
But then there is also the fact that I don’t have the extra money to rent buses for the march.
Each bus rental will cost about
$2,000. If you can, please chip in here.
If I don’t hear from good friends like
you, I will be forced to walk up to each young volunteer preparing for the pro-life march and say: “I’m sorry but you can’t go
to the March for Life anymore.”
I’m asking you for two favors today: 1. PRAY that God finds a way to get us there!
2. Please consider a one-time gift to send TFP Student Action
bagpipers and volunteers to the 2024 March for Life on January 19. Every gift, no matter how small, will be a big boost.
Let’s be the voice for the voiceless.
But right now, I can only get to Washington with help from my closest friends.
If God wants us to get to the March for Life,
He will make it happen!
Thank you for considering a gift to send our
marching band and volunteers to Washington on January 19.
God bless you. |
