Friend, I'm incredibly proud to call Florida home. From our welcoming, diverse communities to the unique natural beauty of the Everglades, the Sunshine State is a home to be proud of.

But I am not proud to call Rick Scott my senator.

He's a far-right extremist who cares far more about pushing a MAGA agenda than actually making life better for families. He wants a nationwide ban on abortions. He wants to end the Affordable Care Act and raise taxes on working families. He even wrote the plan to end Social Security and Medicare!

A man like Rick Scott has no right representing the incredible people who call Florida home. We deserve so much better. That's why, today, I'm personally asking you to help my friend Debbie Mucarsel-Powell defeat Rick Scott this year. Please, will you make a donation to help her hit her critical $100,000 goal?

Debbie is the leader that Florida needs — and the leader we deserve. She came to America as an immigrant from Ecuador and worked tirelessly to help her mom pay the bills, to put herself through college, and to build a career giving back to her community.

Polls show that voters here are turning against Scott in droves — and election experts agree that he's one of the most vulnerable senators on the ballot this year. But he's also a mega-millionaire who spent $64 million of his own money to buy this seat last time around.
