While our country has come a long way toward achieving equality and justice for all, we have yet to fully realize Dr. King’s dream. Today and every day, we must honor the vision that Dr. King dedicated his life to and recommit ourselves to carrying on his important work.

This week, I joined Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Turn Cycle Solutions Founder Mike Turcotte, and other local leaders in Nashua to discuss our energy future. 

Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, New Hampshire and our country are on track to transition to a clean energy economy, end our dependence on fossil fuels, and build a resilient, reliable electric grid. By expanding access to renewable energy, we will help families and businesses across our state lower their heating, water, and electricity bills and reduce overall energy demand. 

Together, we will lower energy costs across the board and build a brighter future for all!

Sexual violence in our military is unacceptable — service members and survivors deserve to know they'll be protected.

Sexual assault in our military is a matter of national security and readiness — soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen deserve to know they are protected by their own. 

This week, I joined the Democratic Women’s Caucus for a briefing about the Fouled Anchor Investigation at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, which uncovered a history of sexual assaults being mishandled in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. 

We must do more to protect our military members and ensure sexual assault is never tolerated.
