A new Detroit News poll just dropped and the results show why this is going to be one of the most contested races in the country this cycle:
Elissa Slotkin: 37.5%
Republican Mike Rogers: 37.5%

Elissa Slotkin: 36.3%
Republican Peter Meijer: 35.7%

Elissa Slotkin: 35.5%
Republican James Craig: 37.8%

This poll confirms exactly what we’ve been feeling on the ground: this is going to be one of the most competitive races in the nation. We are within the margin of error (-\+ 4%) against all three Republicans in their primary, and this comes the day after a poll showing Trump ahead by 8% over President Biden in Michigan as well.

So what does this mean for our campaign? It confirms we have our work cut out for us. It means we have to fight for every last vote in this election – to hold both the slimmest of Senate majorities, and White House.
