This Week's Highlights

Monday

Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) announced a significant investment to help elect Republican Mazi Pilip in next month's NY-03 special election to replace George Santos.

Pilip is a former IDF soldier and Ethiopian-born mother of seven who is currently serving in the Nassau County Legislature, and holding the seat is critical to the House GOP majority.

Tuesday

Rep. María Elvira Salazar (FL-27) touted the Biden administration's implementation of a policy she authored that will bring accountability for taxpayers.

Salazar’s RECLAIM Taxpayer Funds Act requires the Small Business Administration (SBA) to begin reclaiming COVID-related relief loans that were either fraudulent or unused. An inspector general for the SBA found that more than $200 million in COVID relief loans and grants were potentially disbursed to fraudulent actors.

Wednesday

Sen. Katie Britt (R-AL) criticized President Biden and Congressional Democrats continued refusal to put Americans first and secure our border.

The latest side effect of their failures played out in New York City this week, where students were forced to stay home from school to make room for migrants who came to the U.S. illegally and are no longer in custody.

Thursday

At the White House, reporters asked President Biden's top economic advisor why Americans don't seem to believe that "Bidenomics" is working for them. She responded by saying Americans have "an extra $1,700 to spend" compared to before the pandemic.

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) rightly called that a "fantasy," especially after December inflation figures came in higher than expected.
