Gaza
Dear Friend --
We are making history today. Buses from Chicago, Boston, New York,
Ohio, Florida and many other areas are rolling into the nation’s
capital. At great sacrifice, working people from all corners of the
country are streaming into Washington D.C. today for the January 13
mass action to tell the Biden Administration STOP THIS GENOCIDE!
The Biden administration’s actions are an outrage!
Instead of insisting on a ceasefire in Gaza, the Biden White House
has just carried out another round of bombings against people in
Yemen. Millions of people in Yemen are in the streets opposing this
aggression. The White House seems so committed to Israel’s genocidal
campaign against civilians in Gaza that it is willing to widen and
expand the war into an all-out regional conflict.
We are marching in Washington D.C. today to make it crystal clear
that the people of this country are not going to sit on the sidelines
in the face of a criminal U.S. foreign policy that pays for genocide
with our tax dollars.
It is up to us, the people of this country, to rise up against war
crimes and crimes against humanity that are being carried out in our
name. We are joining with the truly global movement that has arisen in
recent weeks against genocide, occupation and apartheid.
We won’t stop organizing! Today
will be another historic mobilization signaling the growing power of
the new grassroots movement but we are going to keep at it every day,
in every part of the country until Palestine is free!
If you are unable to join us in Washington D.C. today you can watch the rally on the livestream provided by
BreakThrough News starting at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Many people have donated to help this movement grow. This is
critical. We can’t do this work only with the volunteer efforts of the
thousands of people who are working day and night to build the
movement. Raising the funds to keep the movement growing is critical.
If you haven’t donated yet please do so
now. If you have already made a contribution and would like to do so again that would be great. All
donations are tax-deductible.
Today is a major marker for the progress of the movement. Our
strength lies in our ability to expand and sustain a new movement that
will become just as powerful as the one in the 1980s that ended
apartheid in South Africa. Together we can and will make this
happen.
