Three complete chapters
I promised y'all some weekend prepper fun, and I'm delivering! I hope you enjoy the first three chapters of my novella, Three Miles.

Here's a little background on how I came to write this story:
The first time I lived in Athens, I was on a date on the roof of the exact restaurant depicted in the story. A protest did, in fact, erupt, riot police were dispatched, and we watched the entire thing unfold from our perch.
In real life, the excitement was fairly short-lived. Things had been dispersed - though somewhat aggressively - by the time we finished our drinks. But I couldn't help but wonder, what if things had escalated instead?
When I got back to my apartment, I began to research the history of protests in Athens and came across reports of a protest that had begun innocently enough in the same place a few years previously but blew up to epic proportions, leaving the city in absolute chaos for weeks.
Many of
the photos in the book are mine, while others are from open sources. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of my favorite city in the world, along with a taste of prepper adventure. Go here to read today's story.
