Across the country and the world, communities are coming together to protect each other from COVID-19. Many in our communities are facing resource scarcity, home displacement, and confusion about their role in our democratic process. In this challenging time, I’ve been so comforted by everyone’s willingness to do whatever it takes to make sure they and their neighbors stay safe and healthy.

There’s one more thing you can do right now to help your community – complete the 2020 Census.

You pledged to complete the Census, because you know how important it is for everyone to be counted and heard. And now, it’s time - the 2020 Census is live!

The Census will determine your community’s representation in government at all levels and the amount of federal funding it receives for the next ten years. Everyone needs to be counted so that each community gets their fair share. And, for the first time this year, the Census can be completed online, so you can do it even if you’re social distancing.

You know how important the Census is, so after you fill it out, make sure to get others involved, too!
