At a committee hearing this week, GOP Rep. Nancy Mace gave a long speech about how proud she was of the work she did on the House’s Civil Rights Subcommittee.

Alexandria had to remind her colleague of a detail she forgot to mention: Rep. Mace actually led the elimination of the Civil Rights Subcommittee.

Republicans can give all the flowery speeches they want, but Alexandria isn’t going to let them forget their contributions to the structural oppression of marginalized communities across the country.
