Rep. Loudermilk Instructs Cassidy Hutchinson to Produce all January 6th Related Documents

Washington, D.C. (January 8, 2024) | Rep. Barry Loudermilk (GA-11), Chairman of the House Administration Committee's Oversight Subcommittee, sent a letter to former January 6 Select Committee's star witness Cassidy Hutchinson, instructing her to preserve and produce all records and materials in her possession related to the events of January 6, 2021.

As first reported by the Daily Caller, Rep. Loudermilk demands Cassidy Hutchinson provide the Subcommittee with all documents, communications, electronic information, and metadata that is or could be related to her different testimonies regarding January 6 and the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol. This follows a review of her testimonies provided to the Committee which discovered her accounts littered with inconsistencies and contradictions.

"Cassidy Hutchinson's sudden and substantive changes to her testimony are inconsistent with previous statements she's made publicly and to the January 6 Select Committee," said Rep. Loudermilk. "Her actions are deeply concerning and raise serious questions about her credibility. If she refuses to provide us with these documents, I will not hesitate to subpoena her for further questioning."

Just the News:

Loudermilk told Just the News on Friday he plans to dig deeper into Cassidy Hutchinson's change of story, including interviewing her former lawyer Passantino.

Cassidy Hutchinson tried to explain her dramatic changes in testimony by blaming her initial lawyer Stefan Passantino. Our discovery of Cassidy’s errata sheet showing just how substantially her story changed, raises serious concerns about her credibility. Until now, her version of the story was the only one,” Loudermilk said.

Now we know Stefan is no longer prohibited from speaking about his interactions with Cassidy by attorney-client privilege. We look forward to hearing the truth from Stefan about his interactions with his then-client Ms. Hutchinson, and the Select Committee,” he added.
