Here are some recent updates.

• A federal judge kept in place parts of Georgia voter suppression law Senate Bill 202 that cut time between general elections and runoffs, reduced early voting and eliminated the ability to register between a general election and a runoff. Litigation will continue.

• In a win for voters, a federal judge rejected an attempt by the Florida county supervisors of elections to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the state's new restrictions on third-party voter registration organizations. The case will continue.

• Voters in states across the country are dealing with changes to voting and elections after a multitude of new laws went into effect on Jan. 1. See if your state is among them here.

• The Oregon Supreme Court will not hear a case seeking to remove former President Donald Trump from the state's 2024 presidential ballot under the 14th Amendment. The court says it would reconsider taking up this case after the U.S. Supreme Court issues its decision on Trump's eligibility. This means Trump will remain on the Oregon ballot, for now.

• Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin (R) rejected — for the second time — language for a proposed amendment that would effectively ban electronic voting machines in Arkansas. However, the attorney general approved language for a measure to limit absentee voting.
