CCP-Linked Firm Plans to Open Facilty in Kansas I'm calling on the Biden administration, Governor Kelly, and the KS legislature to push back against Cnano USA—a CCP-backed business coming to Johnson County with alarming ties to Chinese military and intelligence services. The Biden administration has a choice: Fulfill its duty to prevent the Chinese Communist Party from expanding its foothold in Kansas, or roll the dice and hope Cnano USA operates in good faith. I hope it chooses the former. America’s economic and national security depend on it. Cnano USA is a CCP-backed company with plans to invest $95 million in a 330,000-square-foot facility in Johnson County.  Allowing President Xi and the Chinese Communist Party to set up shop right in our own backyard poses a significant threat to supply chains and military installations in Kansas. That’s why I sent a letter to Secretaries Yellen & Austin today urging the Biden administration to investigate Cnano USA and take action to protect our economic and national security.
