Team: We’re not sure anyone is fully acknowledging how dangerous, how unhinged, how unbelievable Trump’s claims of political immunity are.

Even as his lawyers — and Trump himself — argue that he could order SEAL Team Six to assassinate his opponents without fear of criminal charges.

There is virtually no precedent in American history for Trump’s claims. Just think for a minute whether you have heard a President of the United States, current or former, argue that they can assassinate a political rival without repercussions.

This from the man who praises our Military in public while degrading them in private — all while plotting to purge career Military officers who are insufficiently loyal. To us, to Veterans, this is terrifying.

Because to Trump, the Military is just a toy for him to play with. A tool to get him what he wants.

For that, and for so many other reasons, we need to make sure he never steps foot in the Oval Office again.
