| I grew up poor. My father was an alcoholic that beat my mother.
Despite it all, I went on to hold the highest office ever held by a black man in North Carolina, and I did it as a Republican.
But every day since, the establishment elite & radical Democrats have continuously called on me to resign. It’s because I’m not a member of the political class. I refuse to play their games.
Those calls continue to this day- but that is all they will ever be. I do not answer them. I answer to you, God, and nobody else.
Voting will soon begin here in the primary race for Governor of North Carolina.
And the Washington establishment & liberal media will do whatever it takes to roadblock our path to the nomination.
But as long as there is air in these lungs of mine, I will always stand up for what we believe in & there is nobody, no politician, nor liberal elitist who can stop me.
Can I count on you to do the same & stand with me just one more time today?
