This weekend, I joined Wolf Blitzer on CNN to discuss the 2024 election and the need to uphold and defend our democracy:

We’ve seen the threat that one elected official can bring to our democracy. Now, as multiple extreme politicians continue to spread lies and misinformation, we cannot sit idly by and watch as these lies impact the very foundation of our democratic republic.

As the November elections approach, we must be steadfast in our commitment to defending our values, our rights, and our democracy.

As Governor of Virginia, I will uphold our democratic values and defend our rights just as I have in Congress — and over this next year, I will work hard on the campaign trail to ensure a governing Democratic majority, and President Biden's win in November.
