The House GOP is leaving no stone unturned in its anti-Electric Vehicle (EV) agenda, even if it comes at the expense of American manufacturing.
Just this week, they pushed through a bill that would undermine the US’s burgeoning EV industry by flooding it with foreign-manufactured EV charging products — damaging the U.S. economy and our country’s fight against climate change.
The modern GOP has shown no sign of giving up their “climate hoax” rhetoric in 2024, and that includes using whatever legislative tools they can find to cut the legs out from our homegrown EV market. They’re so blinded with rage, they don’t even care that the consequences will fall on American workers.
We must be prepared to fight tooth and nail to defend our country’s climate progress in 2024, including the Electric Vehicle investments our SEEC Members fought so hard to pass in the Inflation Reduction Act.
