John,

As I write this note today, I am bursting with pride and gratitude for the amazing coalition that helped bring about much needed change in our district.

I want to thank each and every volunteer, donor, and supporter who has helped our campaign over the last three years. Together, we won in the face of adversity. We not only defeated a long-time incumbent, but we powered through GOTV in a public health crisis. This is the best team out there, period.

Thanks to strong supporters like you, we knocked on over 100,000 doors, made over 200,000 phone calls, hosted 318 meet and greets, sent nearly 50,000 postcards, and contacted thousands of our neighbors in #IL03.

In the months ahead, we are going to work together to lower health care costs, to fight climate change, and to build an economy that works for everyone and everyone’s rights.

A New Day has come to the Southwest Side. Let’s finish this fight in November!
