Hi there, my name is Ike McCorkle, and I am the Democrat running to defeat Lauren Boebert.
Since she has taken office, Lauren Boebert has had her name in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Some of them, admittedly, can be pretty amusing to read. Who can forget “Beetlejuice-gate” and how she embarrassed Colorado on the national stage?
But you know what’s not amusing at all? Lauren Boebert’s constant conspiracy ravings. Boebert has spread misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine, demeaned the LGBTQ+ community, and she’s even pushed Trump’s Big Lie about the 2020 election.
As someone who proudly served this country in the Marines - I refuse to sit back and let her keep getting away with this. That’s why I’m so proud to be taking her on in Congress.
