*Gov. Reynolds appoints Christopher Kemp as District Judge*  

 

DES MOINES – Gov. Kim Reynolds today announced her appointment of Christopher Kemp as a district judge in Judicial Election District 5C.   

 

Judge Kemp, of Grimes, Iowa, is a district associate judge in Judicial Election District 5C.  He received an undergraduate degree from Carleton College and his law degree from Drake Law School.  

 

Judge Kemp fills a vacancy created following the retirement of the Hon. Robert B. Hanson.  Judicial Election District 5C includes Polk County.
