Friend –
As our campaign takes a hiatus from in-person events, we are pleased to announce our first Virtual Town Hall where you can not only engage directly with Teresa, but also with Dr. Jane F. Seward, an expert in public health, vaccines and vaccine preventable diseases. She also has expertise in viral diseases including coronavirus.
Join Teresa Tomlinson and retired Centers for Disease Control expert Dr. Jane F. Seward for a Virtual Town Hall on Facebook Live this Saturday, March 21 at 1PM.
At the CDC and later at the Task Force for Global Health, Dr. Seward worked on the control of vaccine preventable diseases including influenza, and during the ebola epidemic, she worked on an ebola vaccine trial in West Africa. We look forward to an informative discussion of COVID-19, social distancing, missed opportunities in the federal government’s response to this crisis, and what we can learn moving forward. Her insights at this challenging time will be invaluable.
As a former mayor, public safety director and head of Homeland Security, Teresa looks forward to sharing her experience in crisis management simulations, partnering with federal government entities like the Army at Ft. Benning, and taking a proactive approach to solving the everyday crises we face as a nation — like how she was able to achieve net-zero veterans’ homelessness in Columbus by the end of her second term as mayor in 2018.
We hope you will join us for this first-of-its-kind event! RSVP today.
