John —
Our military firefighters are exposed to dangerous chemicals while working to keep us safe. These heroes risk their health, and their lives, for our safety. They deserve to know that we care about their safety and health.
That’s why I introduced a bipartisan bill to adequately compensate current and former military firefighters suffering from PFAS-related illness.
Our military firefighters are exposed to these forever chemicals that can devastate their health. It’s time to take care of those who risk their lives for our safety. Add your name if you agree. >> [[link removed]]I SUPPORT OUR MILITARY FIREFIGHTERS [[link removed]]
During Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month, we must acknowledge the harm our military firefighters face. They are exposed to toxic PFAS-laden firefighting foams, which puts them at higher risk of cancer and other serious health effects.
While we are eternally grateful to our military, we must also show the firefighters whose job it is to protect our military that we see and understand the sacrifices they make. Please join me in calling for action to support our military first responders and firefighters by adding your name here: [[link removed]]I SUPPORT OUR MILITARY FIREFIGHTERS [[link removed]]
