The independent elections forecasters at Cook Political Report just downgraded their prediction in CA-21 from “LEANS DEMOCRAT” to “TOSSUP.”
We can’t say we disagree. In 2018, TJ flipped this seat by just 862 votes, and the latest data from the primary election suggests this race will once again be razor close.
We know there’s a lot going on these days, and our fundraising has slowed dramatically over the last couple weeks. But now that we're officially a tossup we need a spark of grassroots momentum headed into our end-of-quarter filing deadline this month.
