2024 has just begun. But already, there are thousands of kids who are waiting for the life-changing impact of a wish as they spend their time isolated in hospital rooms, counting down toward a major surgery or facing their next treatment:

As a member of the Make-A-Wish® team, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand how these wishes change kids’ lives – how they give kids hope and strength in their darkest moments. That’s why medical providers overwhelmingly agree that wishes are a necessary part of a child’s treatment journey, often creating better health outcomes and increased odds of overcoming an illness.

But granting a single wish takes a lot of resources, and we rely entirely on supporters like you to make sure kids aren’t enduring unnecessary waiting time for their wish to come true. So now that we’re officially in the new year, we set a goal to raise $45,000 for kids who are starting off 2024 in need of a wish, and we can’t reach it without your help.

That’s why I’m personally asking you to think about the kids who have been unable to go to school, spend time with loved ones and simply be a kid because of a critical illness. Will you make a donation for them today to provide them with the transformational joy of a wish?
