Friends, the song which tells the story of my life is from a Lin-Manuel Miranda musical – and no, not the one you're thinking of!

 

In "Breathe" from In The Heights, a Latina sings about the responsibility she feels to make her family and community proud. Here's a sample:

We're at a turning point in this campaign and I really do feel the weight to succeed, to prove that a Latina like me can run for Congress, overcome ALL of the obstacles, and win in order to bring better representation to our community. 

 

But this isn't just about me. When we defeat Young Kim in November, we'll bring Democrats one step closer to ending the MAGA majority that's holding our country back.
