Claudine Gay FINALLY resigned as President of Harvard after widespread allegations of plagiarism and anti-semitism.
At the December 5 congressional hearing on anti-semitism, Gay was asked whether calling for the genocide of Jews violated the university’s bullying and harassment policies. Instead of saying YES, Gay said it would “depend on the context” and would have to be “actionable conduct” for the school to intervene…
Harvard REFUSED to condemn her statement and took NO ACTION to remove her from her position amid COUNTLESS calls from major donors, alumnus, and students.
In the weeks following the hearing, NEARLY FIFTY plagiarism claims against Gay, totaling approximately half of her published works, came to light. Despite numerous allegations, Gay’s resignation letter and Harvard’s public statement blamed “racial animus” as one of the factors driving her resignation.
While Gay will no longer serve as president, she remains employed as a Professor of Government and African American Studies, where she is poised to continue making a salary that tops $900,000+ per year (Post Millennial).
