Governor Kelly Announces

Administration Appointments

TOPEKA* – Today, Governor Laura Kelly announced 3 appointments and 4 reappointments to the following state boards and commissions.

*_KANSASWORKS State Board_*
Purpose: To oversee and coordinate all employment and training programs and activities and to become a worldclass workforce development/employment system. The Board provides information to the Governor, Legislature, public and private agencies, and the public on matters pertaining to employment and training programs, services, and facilities.


* Hector Martinez, Garden City

*_Kansas Board of Examiners in Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Instruments_*
Purpose: To regulate the licensing of examiners and market of hearing aids.


* Erica Mears, Wichita (reappointment)
* Tim Stanton, Ellis (reappointment)

*_Board of Agricultural Remediation_*
Purpose: To administer the Kansas Agricultural Remediation Fund and the remediation reimbursement program.


* Tatum Couture, Wamego
* Jami Loecker, Manhattan (chairperson)
* Jodi Guetterman, Bucyrus (reappointment)

*_Information Technology Executive Council
_*Purpose: To provide direction and coordination for the application of the state’s information technology resources.
