Lexie here from Tammy Baldwin’s Finance Team. We’re approaching our first benchmark of the Election Year, so I’ll cut to the chase:

We need to raise an additional $35,000 this weekend to catch up to our grassroots fundraising goal that we can’t afford to miss. Our average online donation this month is $22 — which means we need 1,600 more donors to step up before the deadline.

Will you pitch in $22 or whatever amount you can spare to reelect Tammy? We can’t take our foot off the gas with so much at stake in this year’s election.

The numbers speak for themselves in this race.

1% — that’s the margin by which Republicans won Wisconsin’s last Senate race.

$77 million — that’s how much they spent to do it.

$20 million — this is how much Tammy’s soon-to-be Republican opponent, Eric Hovde, has promised to spend out of his own pockets to win this race.

Our race is going to be one of the most competitive — and expensive — in the country. So we cannot afford to miss even one of our fundraising goals.
