Nicotine content in e-cigarettes more than doubled in 5 years

A new Truth Initiative® and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention study finds that average nicotine concentration in e-cigarettes rose from 2.10% to 4.34% between 2013 and 2018, a more than 100% increase. JUUL’s 5% strength pods that came on the scene in 2015 drove much of that increase.
