You’ve heard me speak and tweet the phrase “no border, no budget” for weeks, and here’s why it matters now more than ever.
As you read this, there are 2,000 migrants taking up residence in a New York City high school, leaving American students kicked to the curb and forced into remote learning. The whole fiasco has sparked outrage—and rightfully so.
Truth be told, this is exactly what Republicans have been warning against. We told you there’d be hell to pay if we didn’t put a stop to the mess at our southern border, and now the issue is on our doorstep. The border crisis is spiraling out of control, and our own children are left to pick up the pieces.
Schools are supposed to be where our children go to learn, grow, and succeed. We saw the devastating consequences of remote learning during the pandemic, and we can’t afford to go back to that—not even for a few days.
Our kids deserve to be in the classroom with their teachers and peers, not glued to a screen at home. Turning schools into makeshift migrant housing facilities sets a dangerous precedent, and of course Democrat-led NYC would lead us down this pathway of destruction.
What else would you expect from our sorry excuse for leadership in this country? Look no further than the White House to see the epitome of tomfoolery. President Biden and his crooked son have made a mockery of America with their never-ending circus act.
Just take this week when it was Hunter’s chance to face the music for his crooked ways, but after just 17 minutes in the House Oversight Committee hearing, he made a run for it—just like he dodged two lawful subpoenas.
Is this the America we want, folks? Of course not. We can do better, and we must do better.
Our children shouldn’t be ousted to make room for illegal immigrants, and our leaders shouldn’t be able to skirt the law and fly under the radar with their backward business dealings.
The buck stops here. I won’t back down until we close that dadgum border, hold Hunter in contempt of Congress, and restore some much-needed sanity in this country.
We’ve been counting down to 2024 for a while now—and thank goodness it’s finally here. Change is on the horizon, and it’s about time.
