Walker became interested in welding by watching videos, and on an early December visit to the Port of Tacoma’s maintenance building got a chance to try it for the first time. “That was pretty cool. Tree Planting
Volunteer to Plant Trees at the Port
Calling volunteers of all ages! Please join us Saturday, January 20 from 9am-1pm for a tree planting event at the Port. Coordinated with Tacoma Tree Foundation and the City of Tacoma, we will plant 50 trees along Marshall Avenue. All planting tools and equipment as well as light snacks will be provided.
