Across the country, far-right extremists are attacking our community and working to strip away our rights. Marriage equality, gender-affirming healthcare, and common respect are all on the line for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Now more than ever, we need fighters in Washington who are unafraid to raise their voice for the LGBTQIA+ community. I know that David Trone would step right into those shoes as our next Senator.

I support Congressman David Trone because from the moment I met him, I felt safe and able to be myself. Not only does David accept every person’s identity and individuality wholeheartedly, he’s taken action on the things we care about.

Since day one, I’ve seen him stand up for our community in Congress. His track record includes cosponsoring the Equality Act, cosponsoring a resolution in support of transgender rights, voting to protect the Respect of Marriage Act, providing funds towards programs for LGBTQI+ youth, and more. He's a fighter for us.

I know that David will work to defend my rights and squash hateful legislation.
